I disagree. Three hours may not be sufficient, but in my experience it's pretty close to it. I frequently set up Freenet on computers that have never had it (public computers; the hard drive is re-imaged on reboot) and I can load gateway pages within hours. The big caveat with my experience is that I know how to set up and run Freenet. But the caveat's caveat is that there's really not much involved to setting up Freenet, if you don't have firewall issues. I just download the web-installer (it's always Windows machines, of course), double-click, and away we go. I think five hours of running, and letting the browser churn away at the links, should be enough. If it's not, there's some other problem. -todd _______________________________________________ Support mailing list [email protected] http://news.gmane.org/gmane.network.freenet.support Unsubscribe at http://dodo.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support Or mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
