You can remove the cron entry that starts Freenet at reboot; this
won't cause any problems, except that you'll have to manually start
Freenet before use.  Note that running Freenet only occasionally is
not recommended for performance reasons (it won't actually cause any
problems, though).  I don't remember the details on OSX, but I believe
it should have created icons to stop / start the program.  You can
also run "./run.sh stop" (and "./run.sh start") from the Freenet
install directory to stop (or start) it manually.
