Sally,
Right click the shortcut you use to start ebase. That will display the "target" of
the shortcut and tell you which copy you've been using. It is the one modified
when you use it to start ebase. Other copies could have been modified if they were
opened another way, and you'd need to check the data to figure out if any needs
to be moved to the main copy.
I'd recommend against having several copies unless you really need them and have a way
to ensure only one is used/modified.
