To whom it may concern:
I am just getting acquainted with ebase and Filemaker Pro and I have run
into a snag. While trying to import data from a Microsoft Excel file to
ebase, I first converted the excel file to Filemaker Pro form. Then, I
followed the given steps for importing data and legacy fields, etc.
However, when the importing was done, all that had been imported were
first and last names. Addresses and other donor information were nowhere
to be found. I ran into this same problem before I got Filemaker Pro,
when I attempted importing from an ASC II tab-separated text format. Is
there something wrong with the ebase I downloaded (i.e. should I download
it again) or am I missing some step along the way? Thanks in advance for
your help.
