Not backing up is insane. You should backup as frequently as you are willing
to redo whatever gets lost by going back to the most recent backup. This is
NOT just a property of ebase. It applies to every program you use on your
machine. What if the disk died? They do die. I have lost more than one in
almost 20 years of running PCs for a NFP. But I have never lost much
information (except stuff that people stupidly kept their only copy on a
floppy).
We even make sure occasional copies are off site (fire and theft
prevention).
