Is it possible (and if so, what might be some of the
advantages/disadvantages) to host ebase/FM on a Mac in a small, local
network that is composed, otherwise, of PCs? I don't know enough about
networking, particularly w/ macs, to answer this very definitively, though
the answer may be an obvious yes or no.

A group contacted me saying that they have ebase installed on the lone mac
left in their office and, to avoid moving the database and/or getting a new
pc, would like to network the Mac with their pc's and use the mac just as
the host for the database. FM server wouldn't be involved, just one license
of Filemaker.

Thanks,

Ted
