The Added By field should be auto-entered with the name of the owner
of the machine where a record is added. If your copy of ebase doesn't
have that field as auto-entered, it's been modified.
There isn't an Edited By field in ebase as delivered. If you have one
by that name, it has been added. If you mean the Contact Info Edit By
field in the names file, or Other Info Edit By field in profile, they
are calculated fields, set to the machine owner's name when specific
fields are modified.
One other possibility - are you using version 1.00? I don't have a
copy here, but it's possible those fields weren't completely
implemented in the earlier version.
