There are several common possiblities.
The ebase set of 27 files should exist in exactly one directory on your
entire computer. No other .10x files should be on that computer, FileMaker
sometimes finds the wrong ones and you get a very mixed up bunch of files
with some changes in one place while other changes are in another and the
indexes are bogus.
The find screens look a lot like the data entry screens. We occasionally
have people enter data into a find screen, ignore the not found message, and
then wonder where their input went.
Are you adding information by using the Add buttons?
