You have not supplied enough information. PC or Mac? Are you running ebase
runtime? FM Pro? FM Server? Are you networked?

Basically you just copy the .10x files into a directory on any machine and
install whatever program you use to access the data. Just copying the
program files does not work.

However putting the files on your server implies that you are putting them
on a machine that is already doing other things. It is recommended that the
"server" not be doing much other than serving ebase files, e.g. no
interactive users on the machine. You should not be using the OSs file
sharing to get at the files from other machines.
