Liz's process below will result in a list of the contributions since
January 1. Some people might have made more than one contribution
(for example, a dues payment and a contribution to a special appeal).
I'll add a step to Liz's comments to get a list of contributors.
Once you have a found set of payments, the Transfer to Names button
on the View Payments screen will jump you to the names file, with a
found set of records representing the contributors responsible for
the payments in the found set you started with. Note that the number
will be smaller, since some of the people will be responsible for
more than one payment. You could then use any of the lists available
in the names file, such as the phone list report, to get the list you
want.
>Anna,
>To get the list of contributors (members and donors) since January 1:
>
>1. Go to the Payments file, either by using the FileMaker pull-down at the
>top of the page: Window > paymnts_; or by clicking View Payments for someone
>that has a payment on file.
>2. Click Query tab.
>3. Enter >1.1.2001 in the Post Date field.
>4. Click Continue to go back to View Payment screen, and then click Report
>button for printout.
