We limit our double entering by putting very little into QuickBooks, only
last name, zip code, date, and amount. But we have plans for eliminating the
work (not the records), by writing a program to export from ebase and import
into QuickBooks. We may actually write a special purpose frontend that
exports to both ebase and QuickBooks as well as to ICVerify for credit card
transactions. We get about 1/3 of our income from sales of books and maps
whose inventory is tracked by QuickBooks but nothing is stored in ebase.

Note: "double entering" is confusing because of the accounting usage of
double entry bookkeeping. I don't mean the accounting usage.
