Ted,
Thanks for your help. One last problem, I think. I can't choose the payments table 
from that drop down. This is what I'm doing.
-Go to layout mode
-Use pull down over rolodex (does that have a name?) to go to Query #2
-Add field box
-Go to specify field
At this point I cannot choose PAYMENTS instead of names, as it's not in the list. I 
see PROFILE, SUMMARY, GIFT, ACTIONS, CONTACT, HELP, lookup from zip table,
etc. but not PAYMENTS.
