One of my clients does a ton of householding because, for reasons unrelated to
membership, they needed to put only one person in each name record. So I ended up
reworking the membership fields to allow "joint memberships", meaning that any
non-primary member's membership status
will draw from that of the primary record. It was a bit tricky to set up and took
awhile, but it works fine. Let me know off list if you want more details.
