Contrary to some of the remarks about the difficulty of setting up a new
layout, it is actually quite easy. Filemaker has a good wizard that walks you
though it. Just select new layout, a proper Avery number, plop some fields on
it. If you want to put that layout on one of the ebase screens or use it
instead of one of the existing ebase layouts, that takes much more work and some
understanding of how the system is put together. I find you are almost always
better off starting from a new screen than trying to modify an existing one. If
you want to go that route, step one is DUPLICATE LAYOUT, and work on the
duplicate.
