Just a bit of feedback -- source codes are intended to identify
communications you have with your constituents and their response.
For example, you generate a source code for an invitation to an
auction, or a solicitation for auction items. If someone comes to the
auction, you post an action item with the source code from the
invitation. If someone donates an item to the auction or donates
refreshments to the auction, you post a payment with the same source
code as the solicitation. The purpose is to track the communications
you have with constituents, and their effectiveness.

Lumping in-kind payments resulting from many different solicitations
in a single source codes reduces the usefulness of the source code
function.
