VNC is available for the Mac OS also. The other good remote-control package for the Mac is called Timbuktu. Both of these have the limitation that you take control of the host machine, so no one else can be using it at the time. Direct access to the ebase files using FileMaker Pro and FileMaker's file sharing over a TCP/IP network works the same as it does on a windows machine.
