Hello, Thank you for all your help. I was able to get my names to import without too much trouble. Unfortunately I still have a problem that I need to clear up before I import my Payments.
I have imported my legacy files from my old ebase on an old computer into my new ebase on my new computer. When working with the imported data before moving it into ebase the "Record ID"s matched up with the "Serial #"s. And the Record ID was imported. I went ahead and moved the import into ebase. When I open my names file in ebase the numbers are one off. When I go to Home or Data Entry the "Serial #" now reads "2" for the record which has record ID "1" because of the Dummy entry which exists at the start of the new program. We use these record ID's actively so it would be a bit of a pain to change all the numbers to one higher. Is there a way to import the data so that it will write over this Dummy entry? I deleted it before I imported but it obviously "remembers" that it was there. Or is there a way to change this serial number now so it will correspond with the Record Number? I can not currently find out where to see the Record ID number. Please help.
