The letter generator on my copy of ebase will print the letter of the payment I choose, even from multiply payments as long as I've selected it by going to that payment in the payment entry layout. However, the thank you generator's preview will show a preview of the most recent payment, NOT the one you've selected. So I just grit my teeth and print it out, and voila it is the one I want!
