Um, I hope that this is not heresy for our developer folks, but, Robert,
my first piece of advice would be to use version 1.03 of eBase now, with
the tutorial. Particularly if you have never done membership or
prospect database stuff before, version 1.03 and its tutorial have a LOT
to teach you. I think that once you have used 1.03 for even a short
while, you'll be closer to the general user community's level. (I have
lots of database experience but almost NO past membership tracking
experience. I began using eBase and have LOOKED at version 2.0, but
haven't been ready to convert to it as yet.)

I'm sure that others will speak up if I'm steering you wrong, but I know
that *I* can explain to you how to import information into eBase version
1.03 now, but would not know how to help you with version 2.0. (What I
don't know too, since I'm showing off my lack of knowledge ;-) is how
to export from Eudora, which is part of what you will want to do.) I'd
look into doing a comma-delimited file export of the information you now
have in Eudora. Read the section in the eBase v 1.03 manuals on
importing data, and then ask more questions of us.

Best,
Linda
