Title: Re: [support] Total newbie question: learning eBase
Robert,

If you know a programmer who can write a script for you, getting your data from Eudora should not be difficult, using regular expressions in PERL or a similar a language. Actually, I bet if you search the Web, there are already scripts that do exactly what you want. It seems like it would be a common need.

It's not going to be easy to get your Eudora address books into ebase. This info is kept in a text file named Eudora Nicknames.  Here's what my entry looks like.

alias dshaw [EMAIL PROTECTED]

then later the address info

note dshaw <address:85 S Washington St #304><city:Seattle><state:WA><zip:98104><phone:206-954-7526>note here<change:1>
