I sounds like you did not do the deletion properly. If you have a
householded that you want to modify you should use the view household button
on the home screen or alternately the household button on the Admin screen
(both invoke the same script). This allows you to remove a person from a
household. If you remove both people from the household the housholding
record goes away. Since you appear to have done something different you may
have to go under the covers to get rid of the household remanants. The
primary household record keeping is done in groups_.10x. As usual with going
under the covers, backup before playing.
