It sounds to me as if you are doing the search and running the report from the Payment History screen which lives in the names file. That will give you individual totals as you are apparently seeing, not overall totals for the year. I think Paul Chubbuck's suggestion works if you do the search and run the report from within the payment file. First go to the Payment Entry screen, then do the query as Paul describes.
