Andrew,

I forgot to be explicit that hosting ebase on FMPro -- either for other
FMPro clients or for VNC -- probably requires that a whole computer be
dedicated to hosting ebase.  Same deal for FMServer, actually.

Depending on number of records and how heavy the use is, you may want to
consider something beyond just a typical office desktop computer (a faster
hard drive -- more RPM -- would be especially handy).

Eric has covered all the direct cost items I can think of, but don't
overlook the cost of staff training, installation and setup (whether
done by consultant or staff) and backup software and equipment if you
don't already have it.
