As Walt said, there is are fields already in ebase v1 to contain the "add date" and "mod date" These aren't really useful, though since these fields get updated whenever *any* field in a record gets modified - for example, when you run the "Update Fast Find Fields" script after a data entry session or before running labels. A better field to look for is "Contact Info Edit Date" which contains the latest date the name, address, phone, or email was modified. It's in the names file but not on any layout. To search it you need to add it to a layout somewhere convenient. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
