Hello,
I'm looking to setup pfsense/dhcpd to hand out "static" IPs to a few known
MAC addresses and dynamic for the rest of the pool. If I'm reading things
right, this is not possible because to enable static entries, one must
also check off the "Enable static ARP entries" option, which blocks access
to anything not in the list of known MACs.
In the meantime, is it safe to just edit /var/etc/dhcpd.conf by hand?
Will it "stick" until I try to update anything via the web interface?
Does it get recreated at boot?
Thanks,
Charles
