Curtis, I didn't see your post till after I posted mine. I am having a very similar problem, but NOT in Vista, but with XP. See my post from 3/28 and let me know if you found a solution. I'd like to try it, because I too am suspicious a M$ patch caused it. Many Thanks, Ben
