When I tried a failover last night, everything failed over properly
but all my active sessions had to be terminated and restarted (SSH,
Remote Desktop). OpenVPN didn't fail over either. It timed out and
automatically reconnected (but still...). Am I wrong in that pfSense
failover is supposed to be stateful?
Another question is whether or not the OpenVPN configuration is
synchronized? I noticed that it wasn't because the first time I
tested fail over from one pfSense box to another, my VPN wouldn't come
back up due to a settings mis-match on the backup.
