smyth research makes one (called the realizer), or there's the beyerdynamic headzone.


We have discussed the smyth esearch solution some time ago, if I remember well.

Beside of this, there seems to be a certain lack of some "popular" solution, say "Dolby style" or whatsoever.

Maybe some of the beancounters decided that this would not run as a viable project... I also don't want to spread rumours, but I believe there was "something".

As the research is done, it is more about maketing/innovation. (Old style innovation, so to speak. If "content is king", you don't have to innovate. Unless the slogan gets out of fashion, of course. < g >)
