I used one on a remote recording session as a backup to my normal computer 
running a ULN8 last month and everything John says is true. One small beef is 
that you can only get 6 AES channels OUT. But you can get eight IN. I'll live 
with that for now. I am going to buy one ASAP for all of my remotes as it has 
proven itself quite well. The session required a 400ft AES link between the 
control room and the concert hall. My Insta-snake worked very well here with 
Belden Mediatwist.
