Fyi, just so folks know. In the ps/2 machines, there are no ribbon cables
at all. The drives plug directly into a backplane that is plugged
directly into the motherboard. So unless you recognize moddle numbers, or
know spacifically what kind of drive a particular model of ps/2 machine
has, you can't tell just by looking at the drive. But like I said, most
of them are IBM brand esdi drives with a circuit board that goes directly
into the backplane, no cables required. Makes those drives unusable in
any other system whether it's esdi or not.
