Sorry abou this Travis, you're wrong here. Only a few like the 50, 50Z and 70
use a backplane card controller. The models 25 through 40 series are ISA and
some have built-in proprietary controlers or you can use a stock controller
and drive - 8 or 16 bit dependant upon the actual unit. Some have mylar
ribbons for IBM drives, some have ribbon cabling. Many of the models use SCSI
drives (stock type too) and either have a controller built in or use an
adapter card.. They generally all use a ribbon cable as well.

Every model/type in the PS/2 line is different in some way from the other. I
work them daily and by the dozens so I can make this statement. I also have a
full IBM hardware maintenance manual that shows all but the P70 and L40SX but
I have those as well in other books.

I missed the roiginal message this was about. If anyone is looking for PS/2's
or parts just email me direct, I have all sorts of stuff - but NO sound cards.
