If you are talking about a hard drive controller card, and it has two 20-pin
connectors for data cables, and a 34-pin connector for a hard drive
coltroller cable, it could also be an ESDI controller. Some ESDI
controllers have a BIOS chip, and they also have a clock crystal to control
timing, either 12MHz, 14, or even 26 or 28MHz clock crystal. Some ESDI
controllers had floppy cables and some did not. Some also had ports on the
back for external devices. There were going to be ESDI scanners, printers,
external drives, and other such things.
