Someone (cannot find back the mail posted) had the following address
mentioned to find that "Word" viewer -
"http://mdrury.hypermart.net/index.html the download place for View"
this URL does *not* work properly (some M$/N$ "proprietary" shit in the
entry page to "hypermart.net", the reference to "mdrury" does not work),
and that file is not to be found there.
I wanted to have a look at it, as I have some prog called "View" since
quite a while (can't remember where from, probably SimTel) which does
read "Word" files fairly well, but not higher versions than "Word-5";
the "View" version I have is "9.5", (c) 1994 Malcolm Drury (indeed) -
I could set it up on my www place if needed.
