Puzzling still, as apparently no-one else had that problem with
Nettamer.
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> mentioned speed as possible factor. I think it
isn't that (this machine goes on 115 K DTE:DCE an never choked for
reasons of speed; comm card UART is a rather recent 16550 with FIFO and all
sorts of bells) - this should have happened then with *other* received
sequences too, and any arbitrary mail download. But it happened only and
exclusively with his signature line after that first line with
asterixes.
One additional observation: I noted that Per perhaps uses another editor
(or mailer for that part) since fairly recently - one week? -, since
contrary to his earlier postings lines in his mails tend to be
quite long, with somewhat unordered linebreaks. Could it be that ?
