Hmm, depends on HOW cheap it is. I heard from one place that Gates once
expressed a desire to flood the world with so many computers that everyone
would have one. Windows opens computing to the average stupid user and
cheap computers running windows increases this opening. Imagine a world
where the internet has replaced televisions, telephones and radios, and
you'll see where this wants to go.
Not saying good or bad, just sketching an image to provide clarity.
I do want a world where the internet can replace the telephone, but I don't
want the phone gone exactly. Idaknow, I'd like to be able to do all my
communication from one single source with terminals located throughout the
house, communication that allows me the pick-and-choose variety of the
internet, the visual quality of the television and the aural quality of the
telephone. I like the idea of ordering pizza via internet, talking to my
mum on the computer screen and watching my favorite shows when I'm in the
mood to download them, rather than when they're scheduled. The future is
now, guys, RUN! heheheheheh
bye,

That's the actual number of the beast, 666 was not the numeral system
currently in use at the time of the writing of Revelations.
