Combining rll/mfm with ide drives works just fine.  Of course, you need to
either use an ide controller that allows you to change the primary address
to the secondary one, or you need to have an mfm/rll controller that can
do the same, but combining them is not only possible, but I have done it,
and quite successfully I might add.
