You are right, Bernie. The first IBM PC's (with the cassette port connector
next to the keyboard connector) used a 3/4 inch (8 mm) spacing of the bus
connectors and the XT's went to 1 inch (25mm) spacing. Some of the larger
AT boards won't fit in tese cases. I have an ALR 286/386 mobo that is huge
and I had to find a very large desktop case for it. These original PC cases
are useless for anything, quite aside from their anemic 63 watt power
supplies!
