That's why, if you have several banks with SIMMs of diferent refresh
speed, you have to place the slowest at bank 0. If not you can have
really strange problems like the bios not recognicing all your memory
or simply not booting.
It took me some time to configure my 5 Meg 386 dx40 with 4 256KBy
simms and different speed 4 1MBy simms until I read and article in PC
Magazine explaining this little known problem.
