There is no trace of Windows on the machine. Only one big partition is used
by Linux and a smaller part for swap files I think. I have DRDOS 7.03 Beta
with the latest improvements of its bugs installed.
I have no idea if the controller has anything to do with my difficulties
but want to know what is wrong because I have still some guarantee on the
motherboard. Is it something that I could influence by the CMOS setup?  My
supplier is a nice fellow but until now he always tried to suggest me that
errors which I discovered (with my other machines) were software based.
What do I tell him?
