Hi Pete,
  Regarding the elimination of that nasty drvspace.bin
file which MS-DOS keeps putting on system disks. Well I
had the same problem. What I did was:

1. delete the hidden drivspace.bin in my root directory
   because it has no business being there.
2. rename drvspace.bin and drvspace.sys in my DOS
   directory so it won't run.

Now I don't get that *rude* problem any more.

BTW, deleting drvspace.bin from a bootable floppy never
gave _me_ any problems. I wonder why it is different for
you?
