Question is, however, >if he will be authorised to use it, and when.. guess we'll see >in the next version of QuickView! <STAR WARS MODE=ON> Oh, a feellow Star Wars fan here :) So Or, where did you manage to get it fast? I found it at the University of Ume so my modem showed how fast it was instead of the opposite (half the movie after 4 hours from another swedish server) only took me 6 hours in total to get it, 2 for the actuall download. I was rather "pissed-off" that it came on TV before I was able to download it (10 minutes before) and the TV version was cut! How many times have you seen it? I think I'm somewhere between 30 and 40 times. (the amount for the teaser is probably around 100) </STAR WARS MODE=OFF> Back to buisness! I have talked to him (QVs creator) too, and he has said that Srensen (can't find the norweigan/danish "" so I'll us my own) didn't find any market in it. But he asked me to contact them and see the response (which I don't know where I have now). Anyway the bottom line was that they didn't feel they had time to let people work on such a project now (linux in the works?) I also mailed this list and the Arachne list and tried to get people to send mail to them, but sofar no luck. Srensen will take some time :( Perhaps a new request (or several) to them would make them change there minds? The trailer can only be downloaded in that format so it's a shame (but the quality is on the other hand great!) QuickTime 3 can't play all "normal" (read old) codecs and are therefor not as good as QucikTime 2 in Windows. I now have 6 QuickTime movies only viewable in Q3, they are the trailer and the 5 parts of "Troops" (a Star Wars/Cops comedy). I would love to have srensen decrompression in QV so I could view them more easily. Hey, I *know* I would pay for a license then. //Bernie To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
