I saw in linux as I was pretending to set it up (really just pressing enter all night for a crippled CLI) that it theoretically has appletalk software in it. zmodem for Mac is what the local freenet suggests for use on macs. They use a unix/lynx system and your home computer acts, via telix or zmodem, as a terminal. Any level of stupidity in a computer is likely to work as well as modems of slower speeds, such as 2400 Dunno if this info helps you, but I hope it gives you some clues to go on. bye, Yolanda UIN 4898262 http://members.home.net/pippi5 The trouble with making it look easy, is nobody appreciates your effort!
