I'm going to pick up a 386 and a 486 tomorrow (hopefully) and I was
wondering if I should buy PCI NIC for my two Pentiums and use my old ISA
cards for these new computers (if they fit that is).
The actual quaestion is:
Do I gain something on a PCI card? (Shouldn't it be faster with the
connection inside my computer?)
Can there be any compatible problems? (It's very easy now since both my
computers are alsmot the exact same, except that I have faster/bigger stuff
in my primary that is). I'm thinking about DOS (Novell PNW) and Linux when
I say compatible. (BNC and/or TP).
