Keep got timeout with this ISP, so I tried www4mail which usually
worked with Tvdog's FTP site. Unfortunately, it also failed with
an ambigous error (site not found/password protected/timeout).
I'll try ftpmail on the next online run.

That seems to be the problem. You can't chdir to Tvdog's if you
can't login as anonymous. Have you asked Agate admin about this?

If the files still there, you will need cca. 30 MB of online space
to salvage them. It might be possible to use free web hosting to keep
them online for good (Tripod might be a good candidate), but it will
require two or three accounts and a *lot* of online time to complete
the work.
Any thoughts, ideas, guys? C'mon, don't be shame, you are free to
express your opinions here ;-)
