hahaha! I still have my first computer...
the original Tandy 1000. with no suffix letters.
And it's still chugging along as good as ever.
Better actually because I now have a 2400 modem in it.
(I'd have killed for a modem when I was a kid)
And I recently finangled an upgrade into it.
I upgraded the RAM from 256K to 384K.
GEt this, I had to desolder the RAM chips form one
memory card, and add them to another memory card.
Broke a pin off one of the chips, an dI had no solder,
and no replacement chip. So I used MSHA approved
_electrical tape_ to tape the pin back onto this DIP chip!
And the bloody thing WORKED! EVeryone said "ahh, it'll die quickly"
but here I am 6 months later, and it _still works_.
I mean, a machine built(like a tank indeed) tough enough
to work with something like that. And to be so old.
No wonder there are still so many old Tandys sitting out there.
I can't bring myself to sell the darn thing or give it away.
I mean, it was my first computer. What a little geek I was.
(still am I guess)

She'd dismissed the possibility that it meant 'having ten teeth'."
