There have been some office programs, quite good ones, both for
mainframe and DOS PC. As for as PC I'd say comparable to MS Works for
DOS. However, they've never been intended for international use, that's
why you've never seen them. I did a lot of effort to find a hungarian
wordprocessor and finally when I found one I couldn't afford it with my
german income! These might be the reasons, why MS managed to take over
the whole market.

They make the software they're paid for at JDEdwards, IBM, SUN, Borland or
