>From what I recall at the time, Bill Gates' current wife was somehow
seriously involved with the development of Bob (nice name, bad product) and
that was generally considered the only reason it made it out the door. It
was cute, but SERIOUSLY lacking. Then again, those were simpler times, and
Windows desperately needed something to make it more appealing.
Interestingly, some of the "integrated desktops" from Compaq and others that
overlay Win9x remind me quite a bit of it (different logins for users,
"personal" space for stuff, etc.)
