Well, actually, IBM is not the only one in the area. Unfortunatly,
the other stores either do not sale laptops, or are worst. ("Linux?
whats that?"). IBM and Dell seems to be the best choices for the moment,
both have Linux compatible laptops for sale (well, Dell will have one
in a month or two.) So far i'm only checking out prices and "is that
what I want?" things.
Regarding attempting to install my DOS on the laptop, I was thinking
about it. However I am not sure if they will agree - they just order
the computers from the US IBM, and once here they install everything
using a pre-made hard disk image. (like Ghost). I didnt even managed
to talk with a tech yet - the salesman keeps relaying the things.
I'll try to contact the tech person directly.
Thats how companies work today.. you cant get a totally-costum
computer, only pre-made "packages".
