Subject: SCSI drives shutting down!
From: "Chad A. Fernandez" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hello All,

I fear that 3 out of the 4 SCSI drives I have in my newest aquisition are
failing! The EISA server that I bought has 4 Seagate ST11200 SCSI drives in
it. The 2nd 3rd, and 4th hard drives shutdown. Currently yhr 2nd HD is
down. Rebooting won't bring it back, it takes using the power switch to get
it back. I checked the drives and the EISA System Config Utility for any
kind of HD power management and didn't see anything.

The power supply is a 415watt unit, so that thould be enough for the 4
drives, plu floppies and a cd-rom. Would a power supply going bad do these
things to the drives?

Any other ideas?
