There are a few people who do use PMAIL in combination with PMPOP and
SMTPOP. Personally I think it is a major hassle to configure the setup
for PMAIL. I've tried, but haven't been successful yet. That just means
that I'll have to try and try again.

The best instructions I've seen so far are at James David Chapman's
web-site. The next time I try to configure PMAIL, I'm going to do it
his way. Go here: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~jchap/contents.htm.

PMAIL is just a front-end for message-management, viewing, and composing.
If you want to use PMPOP and SMTPOP, that can be done without any kind
of front-end system other than your favorite text editor.

Good luck!
